The book is a mixture of comedy and real self-help strategies that really work. Shepherd uses this book to also tell her personal stories, as she elaborates on varies experiences in her life. She discusses having sex at 14, being shamed by her family and church, her recent divorce, her diagnosis of diabetes, and her ongoing struggles in the show biz arena. Overall, the book is a great read and offers a very heartfelt look into her life.
